Leadership Support

Ways we can help…

There are very few people able to be all of the things necessary to run a nonprofit organization; the demands are simply too broad to be as strong at every required character trait. Leadership Support offers an objective 3rd party confidential resource to develop those parts of oneself that are not built-in, or natural. It is also designed to provide appropriate forms of support for those in these high-powered positions to maintain objectivity and focus of effort to achieve the multiple demands.

Examples of expected skill sets for nonprofit Executives include:

  • Financial expertise
  • Personnel management
  • Board support and development
  • Fundraising
  • Grant writing
  • Disease state knowledge
  • Collaboration expertise
  • Public speaking
  • Compliance officer
  • Insurer of clean annual audits
  • Visionary
  • Planner
  • Mental health expert
  • Measurement of program design outcomes, and
  • Appropriate policies and approaches to respect and serve those living with disease.

It is not appropriate for a Board to hire the best person they can and expect all of these roles to be expertly filled with objectivity without some sort of support.  offers a variety of ways to support nonprofit leadership to help slow the chronic overwhelming feeling into activities and steps that continue to build skills while not missing any of the important elements of day-to-day operation.  offers hourly or monthly opportunities for one-to-one Leadership Support.
